September/October 2021 Manager's Update

FROM THE MANAGER

Fall season and cooler temps are on the way and welcomed but for now, who knows what next week will bring! One thing we are sure of is just how grateful we are to see our airport family staying busy and for all of our new and returning guests that have been choosing KLVJ as their destination.

At the time of this writing, Gate 3 is temporarily out of service from structural damage caused by an impatient driver. If anyone becomes aware of these types of situations around the airport, please report them and any details of offenders immediately so we can address the problem as quickly as possible. I know I’ve covered this before, but please allow the gates a few seconds to fully open before entering or exiting the airport. It is our constant goal to keep the airport in top notch condition for everyone.

As KLVJ continues to grow, please remember to book any amenities needed in advance. Typically our guests do call ahead, however on a couple of occasions, guests have arrived hoping a specific amenity would be available and it had already been reserved. So to avoid any inconvenience, please call ahead to schedule our crew car, pilot lounge, or conference room should there be a need. This helps us to better serve you and make your visit with us as pleasant and productive as possible.

I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Dream Flights for the awesome event we had together on September 25. We had five WWII vets come out with their family and take some flights (see picture below). To say it was incredible would be a major understatement. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of such an amazing event!

With so much growth and positive change, it has been humbling to hear all of your compliments, thoughts, and ideas from our guests and airport family. Your voices are being heard and we appreciate you all! We look forward to continue meeting, servicing, and making every interaction an outstanding experience.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions, comments, or concerns that I may be able to help with.

Happy Flying,

Jason Panos
