Our line service technicians are platinum certified through the ACE quality control program, ensuring only the best service for our customers.
A Brief History
[1947] Clover Field is established as a private use airfield by Perry Brown of Friendswood on 320 acres surrounded by pecan orchards. Mr. Brown envisioned a “tail dragger paradise” with six grass runways where visitors would never have to deal with a crosswind.
[1950] Officially opened as a public use airport in October of 1950.
[~1980] As the main-use runway, 14/32 is paved for the first time using a type of asphalt called Coquina. A mix of limestone and sea shells.
[1986] The FAA designates KLVJ as an official reliever to Houston Hobby (KHOU).
[1997] Clover Field is acquired by the Clover Acquisition Corporation.
[2003] To better identify its role in both the aviation world and the local community, Clover Field is renamed to Pearland Regional Airport.
[2005] The last grass runway is decommissioned leaving the 14/32 as the sole runway. During this time, the runway is rehabilitated with concrete and numerous concrete taxiways are established.
[2006] Awarded “Most Improved Airport” by the Texas Department of Transportation.
